TOWN OF WADESBORO
The Town of Wadesboro is located in Anson County, North Carolina. It is the largest municipality in the county, with a population of 5,746 (2003 annexation), and is the county seat.
The Town Hall is located at 124-126 East Wade Street and houses the City Manager, Billing and Collections, Water, Sewer, and Zoning departments.
Hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Bills may be paid through a convenient drive-in window.
The Police and Fire departments are located at 111 South Washington Street (across from the Town Hall).
The Municipal Shop, Water Filtration Plant, and the Sewer Maintenance, Street Maintenance and Sanitation departments are located at 110 Hargrave Street.

GARBAGE COLLECTION
The Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2012 due to the Martin Luther King Holiday. There will be no garbage pickup on Monday, January 16, 2012. Monday’s route will be picked up on Thursday and Tuesday’s route will be picked up on Tuesday.
Town Council Meetings
The Wadesboro Town Council meets at 5:00 p.m on the first Monday of the month unless otherwise announced. Meetings are held in the Town of Wadesboro Conference Room.
The following are the 2012 meeting dates: Jan. 9, Feb. 6, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, Sept. 10, Oct. 1, Nov. 5, Dec. 3.
